The Senior Accountant is part of the BU Turkeys Finance Team at the Kitchener Office and will work for designated operating companies and/or entities within the North America region. This position plays a key role in ensuring that the daily, weekly and monthly time sensitive finance information is executed in a highly efficient and accurate manner. The position requires the highest possible level of efficiency, timeliness, accuracy and integrity of all finance functions. This position will take responsibility for achieving deadlines and accuracy of information presented and will work to support other finance functions as required.
Responsibilities
- Adherence to deadlines around month end, cut-off issues, reconciliations, and reporting
- As the lead Accountant for assigned operating companies, work together with other team members to ensure a smooth, productive and accurate accounting and closing process
- Prepare and input journal entries, maintain G/L to financial statements, subledgers, and other sources of information
