The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring they receive appealing meals in a welcoming atmosphere. As a Dietary Aide at AgeCare, reporting to the Director or Dietary Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our residents enjoy a pleasant dining experience. You will assist with the setup, preparation, serving, and cleanup of all meal services. Apply today to become a valued member of our team What You Will Do* Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner.
* Assist in the set up and preparation for service of various items such as beverages, salads, desserts, etc.
* Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required.




* Assist with cleaning of dishware, and cutlery after each seating as required.
* Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and dining area as required.
* Assist with catering, and actively participate in special occasions and theme events.
* Assist in the orientation and training of recent dietary employees.
* Follow and comply with health and safety legislation and departmental safe job procedures.
* Comply with all provincial regulations and established department policies and procedures. What You Bring* Food Handler's Certificate is required.
* Preference will be given to individuals with previous experience in the food service industry and working with seniors.
