About This RoleReporting to the Financial Controller, the Assistant Controller actively participates in the company’s accounting activities, month-end close, payroll processing, reconciliations, government remittances and the maintenance of reliable financial information.
The incumbent works in a manufacturing and cooperative environment comprising several business units, including processing plants, retail stores, a restaurant, distribution routes and sales activities. The position helps ensure transaction accuracy, the quality of accounting follow-ups and the availability of information required for decision-making.
In collaboration with the Human Resources team, the Assistant Controller also participates in payroll processing and the related accounting follow-ups.
MAIN DUTIES
