Purchasing and Supply Chain Coordinator - Whitby, ON

Reporting to the Manager Purchasing & Inventory, the Purchasing and Supply Chain Coordinator will support the Purchasing and Inventory Department with daily operations.

What will you work on?

- Enter, transmit, track, and verify all purchase orders. Keep all purchase orders up to date in the system through every step of the process.
- Expedite open orders as needed and follow-up with vendors to guarantee delivery times are met.
- Communicate changes and any issues that could negatively impact fulfillment of customer orders.
- Maintain appropriate filing of purchase orders in accordance with the required retention period.
- Handle vendor disputes, defective goods, and service-related issues.
- Measure vendor performance and communicate information internally as necessary.
- Maintain master pricing/quotation files for all vendors.
