Position : ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK
Status :PERMANENT , FULL TIME
Department :FINANCE/MATERIAL MANAGEMENT
Job Summary :The role of the Accounts Payable Clerk is to provide financial, administrative and clerical support to the Finance/Material Management Departments and works in accordance with Hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications :Post-Secondary Degree in Bookkeeping/Accounting, Business Administration or related field required
Hospital experience and/or Accounts Payable experience an asset
Knowledge of Meditech is an asset
Understanding of MOHLTC reporting system an asset
Demonstrated ability to accurately calculate, post, correct and manage accounting figures and financial records
Proven time management and organizational skills
Proven effective interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to work with mínimal supervision
Proven ability to work in a team setting
Personal Demonstrated positive work record and good attendance record
Suitability :Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
Demonstrated commitment to the health and safety of patients, fellow workers, volunteers, students, and visitors
Up to date immunizations required
Shift :Days (37.5 hours per week)
Language :Bilingualism (French & English) is an asset**
Salary: $27.97 - $28.95 per hour (as per CUPE Collective Agreement)
