Roma Catering is looking for a dynamic, organized, and hands-on Catering Event Supervisor to join our team.
This is a versatile role where you act as the bridge between our sales team and the final execution of an event. From coordinating schedules to driving deliveries and leading the team on-site, you will ensure every event—from corporate lunches to large-scale galas—runs flawlessly.
Key Responsibilities: Full-Cycle Event Management: Lead and manage catering events of all sizes and types from start to finish.
Team Leadership: Responsible for scheduling, briefing, and supervising catering drivers and servers to ensure professional service standards.
Logistics & Delivery: Execute catering deliveries across Calgary, ensuring all equipment and food arrive safely and on time.
Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
Administration: Handle light administrative duties, including post-event reporting, inventory checks, and schedule adjustments.
Required Qualifications
Communication: Must be a proficient English speaker with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and staff.
Driving Credentials: A valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract (must be able to provide a recent copy).
Experience: Proven experience in catering, hospitality, or event supervision.
Leadership Skills:
Ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
Flexibility: Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, based on the event calendar
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Proficient time management and meet deadlines efficiently.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also taking initiative independently
