Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Plumbing Quotations Specialist to join our team in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing mechanical drawings and specifications, preparing accurate and competitive quotations, and supporting our wholesale partners and internal sales team.
This position requires strong analytical skills, product knowledge, and the ability to interpret construction documents within a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Review mechanical drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify required plumbing and hydronic products
- Prepare detailed, accurate quotations for wholesale partners and project bids
- Perform material take-offs and ensure all relevant products are included in pricing
- Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers to obtain pricing, availability, and technical clarification
- Work closely with outside sales representatives to align pricing strategies and project requirements
- Maintain organized records of quotes, revisions, and project correspondence
- Provide technical product support and alternative product recommendations when appropriate
- Monitor project timelines and follow up on outstanding bids
- Assist with contract reviews and ensure compliance with project specifications
Qualifications :
- Experience in plumbing, hydronics, mechanical supply, or construction estimating preferred
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Knowledge of plumbing and heating products is highly preferred

Pay: $26.00-$35.00 per hour
