A Day in the Life of a Design Consultant

As a Design Consultant, you create customers for life by delivering exceptional, personalized experiences.

What You’ll Do :

- Engage customers through friendly conversation and strong small-talk skills
- Learn La-Z-Boy products, systems, and sales processes quickly
- Educate customers on products, promotions, features, and care
- Meet and exceed personal sales goals




- Uphold company culture, policies, and procedures
- Work independently while contributing to a supportive team

Compensation

- Earn commission from your first day selling
- 3-month income guarantee during training and while building your client base
- Minimum hourly wage + unlimited commission moving forward

What We’re Looking For

- Sales or customer service experience
- Comfortable building rapport and engaging customers
- Quick learner with a positive, solution-oriented mindset
- Passion for design, decorating, and helping clients
- Goal-driven, dependable, and accountable
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Retail or furniture experience an asset
- Grade 12 education
- Proficient with Microsoft Office & POS systems
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
