Responsibilities

- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide menus, and answer questions about food and beverage options with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring all special requests and dietary needs are noted clearly.
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Upsell menu items by recommending popular dishes, beverages, or specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
- Manage table settings, clear used dishes, and assist with bussing to maintain a clean and inviting dining environment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments via POS systems including cash handling and credit card processing, and provide receipts promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery, maintaining food safety standards at all times.




- Support guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive experience for every guest.
- Assist with opening or closing duties as needed, including sanitation procedures and inventory checks.
- Maintain knowledge of restaurant policies, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards to uphold excellent service quality.

Experience

- Prior experience in food service or hospitality roles such as serving, host/hostess duties, or bartending is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS enhances efficiency in order processing and cashiering tasks.
- Experience in fine dining environments or nightclubs is a plus, demonstrating the ability to handle high-volume service with professionalism.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations ensures compliance with industry standards.
- Strong time management skills are essential for balancing multiple tables and responsibilities during busy shifts.
- Excellent customer service skills combined with the ability to upsell menu items contribute to a memorable guest experience.
