Job Summary

Responsibilities

- Provide professional hair styling services including hair cutting, colouring, treatments, and styling based on client preferences.
- Offer personalized consultations to understand client needs and recommend suitable styles, services and products.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas, tools, and equipment in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Engage with clients in a friendly manner, ensuring excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Promote and recommend retail hair care products to enhance results and support client satisfaction.
- Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to encourage loyalty, repeat visits, and referrals.

Experience

- Valid Canadian Hairstyling License (Red Seal certification preferred).
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist in a professional salon setting within Canada.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Knowledge of sanitation standards and health regulations in the Canadian beauty industry.
- Ability to upsell retail products tactfully while maintaining client trust.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude.
