Since opening our first shop in downtown Vancouver in 2016, we've grown to four locations — and we're looking for a Store Manager to lead the next chapter at Royal Centre. Royal Centre is a fast-paced downtown location serving a corporate lunch crowd. The shop operates exclusively during weekday lunch hours, which means a focused, high-energy service window — and genuine balance the rest of the time. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives under pressure, takes pride in their team's performance, and brings both operational discipline and genuine warmth to the floor every day. WHAT YOU'LL DO Team leadership - Set the tone for the shop — working alongside the team and leading by example during the lunch rush. - Hire, train, coach, and develop your team with clear expectations and consistent, constructive feedback. - Build a culture of recognition, accountability, and respect that people genuinely want to show up for. - Conduct performance evaluations and support individual growth within the team. Daily operations - Oversee all FOH and BOH activity — ensuring product quality, presentation, and service meet Field & Social standards every shift. - Manage inventory, ordering, and supplier relationships to keep the shop running smoothly. - Respond to customer concerns and catering inquiries with professionalism and care. - Uphold health, safety, and food safety compliance at all times.



Financial performance - Track COGS and labour percentages; use reporting tools to identify trends and course-correct proactively. - Build and manage schedules aligned to projected sales and labour targets. - Collaborate with the Kitchen Lead and Regional Chef on consistent menu execution within budget. - Manage inventory reporting, waste control, and payroll submission accurately and on time. WHAT YOU BRING - 1+ years of supervisory or management experience in a restaurant, café, or fast-casual environment. - Confident decision-making, effective people development, and real-time problem solving. - Strong communication skills — you set clear expectations and give feedback that actually lands. - Exceptional organizational ability and composure in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. - Food Secure Certification (asset) and a valid work permit.
