Aramark’s Residence Dining Assistant Manager supports the Residence Dining Manager and works daily with the Executive Chef. The role assists catering and residence dining hall operations at Memorial University. Responsibilities include directing staff, coordinating production, managing costs, and maintaining food safety standards. The position contributes to student dining experiences through organized, nutritious food service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise daily food service operations and delegate employee tasks
- Coordinate staffing concerns with the Manager and Executive Chef
- Manage production planning, waste, records, and operational adjustments




- Prepare schedules, verify payroll, and fill staffing gaps
- Enforce HACCP, safety documentation, and cash handling procedures

Requirements:
- One to three years of food service management experience
- Robust organization, leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to coach and motivate team members effectively
- Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word knowledge
- Availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
