Description : The echocardiography laboratory runs a busy program with >35,000 echocardiography studies (inpatients and outpatients) per year that includes a breath of pathologies ranging from valvular heart disease, genetic and infiltrative cardiomyopathies, patients receiving cancer therapy, advanced cardiac support devices (e.g., LVADs, ECMO), congenital heart disease, etc. The laboratory supports the University Health Network and the community. The laboratory consists of 17 faculty readers and over 50 sonographers.



It is a multivendor laboratory. The program has an active research portfolio. It supports 3-5 advanced imaging fellows per year and has a robust educational footprint.The primary goal of this recruitment is to participate and enrich the educational and scholarly achievements of the Echocardiography Program.
