Job Summary

Duties

- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documentation
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately
- Load and unload materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, or other heavy equipment
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records
- Maintain organized storage areas for easy access and safety compliance
- Assist with order picking processes to fulfill customer or internal requests
- Ensure proper handling of heavy equipment during loading/unloading operations
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment such as forklifts and cranes
- Follow safety protocols during all shipping and receiving activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to optimize space utilization and workflow efficiency

Skills

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles
- Mechanical knowledge for operating heavy equipment including forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and load/unload machinery




- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory control
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Experience with order picking and using heavy equipment such as cranes or forklifts in construction or industrial settings
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation and inventory tracking
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in a fast-paced workplace
- Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
- Knowledge of safety standards related to warehouse operations and heavy machinery operation

Pay: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 65 per week
