NOC Job Code/Title: 44100 - Home child care provider

Terms of Employment

Full time position (30 to 40 hours per week). Flexible / split shift work schedule required. Weekend work required. Job starts as soon as possible.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: $17 to $21 per hour.

Location: AC & MM live in Mont-Royal, Quebec. Residential neighbourhood, schools and parks nearby. Accessible by bus #16 or 165. Major intersection at Graham Blvd and Lombard Crsc.

Duties

- Help with care of two children, a 9 year old and a 6 year old.
- Supervise children when parents are not at home.
- Bathe, dress and feed youngest child.
- Prepare food and change diapers as needed.




- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise.
- Plan, prepare and serve meals. Kitchen clean‑up required.
- General housework that will include doing laundry.
- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment.

Qualifications

- Completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education.
- At least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver.
- Dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision.
