Black Bear Builders is looking for a reliable, hardworking Construction Helper to join our crew in Banff, AB. In this role, you will assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, concrete/landscaping crews) on site, handle material staging, and ensure job sites operate safely and efficiently.

This is a physical, hands‑on role ideal for someone with a strong work ethic who takes pride in quality work and is looking to build experience in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment around job sites.
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with framing, forming, demolition, and general site work.
- Operate basic power tools, hand tools, and equipment safely (e.g., drills, grinders, compaction equipment).
- Clean and prepare job sites by removing debris, trash, and hazards to maintain a safe work workplace.
- Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete, mortar, or gravel as required.
- Follow all Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S;) guidelines and company safety protocols.
