We are looking for two full-time First Cooks to become part of our kitchen team at Pomeroy Kananaskis Mountain Lodge. This role includes preparing complete meals, leading cooking activities, and implementing strict hygiene standards. You will work 30-40 hours per week in a rewarding workplace that offers ongoing development and growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook diverse meals and recipes
• Direct food preparation in the kitchen
• Keep accurate records of food supplies and equipment
• Ensure health and safety compliance in food handling
• Supervise junior cooks and kitchen staff
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience in commercial cooking
• Relevant culinary education or apprenticeship completion is preferred
• In-depth knowledge of food safety protocols
• Availability for flexible shifts
• Ability to manage kitchen operations effectively
