Chartwell Chateau Cornwall is hiring a Dietary Aide to enhance meal preparation and service in a retirement residence. Your role will focus on delivering quality dining experiences for residents and ensuring safety standards.
This part-time position requires assisting in food preparation and effective communication with residents and families. You will respond to concerns with empathy and service orientation, working with the Food Services Manager to uphold standards. Strong organizational skills are necessary to manage tasks efficiently and maintain a positive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare meals for resident dining
• Ensure optimal satisfaction with meal service
• Address resident and family inquiries and concerns




• Assist in catering event setups and service
• Maintain a courteous approach with residents, staff, and visitors
Requirements:
• Previous experience in food services an asset
• Completion of high school education or equivalent
• Food Secure Level 1 Certificate preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively in English
• Strong interpersonal and time management skills
