Nanny

Roles and Responsibilities

- Bathe, dress, change diapers and feed the client
- Prepare client’s food/meal as requested and agreed by the parents
- Discipline client according to the methods requested by the parents
- Provide a caring, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Tend to emotional well-being of client and support social development
- Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
- Instruct the client in personal hygiene
- Take the client to and from daycare and appointments
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding client if requested

Requirements

- 1 to 7 months of experience
- Completion of secondary school
- Must be reliable and able to care for children with kindness and patience




- Demonstrate positive judgement and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
