Friday-Sunday 12 hour shifts or Mon-Thursday Afternoon Shifts (2pm-11pm)
Job Description

In this role, you will perform manual and CNC machining operations, interpret complex technical drawings, and manufacture high-precision components to demanding tolerances. Working in a clean, safety-focused environment, you'll contribute to projects supporting critical infrastructure and advanced industrial applications while continuously developing your technical expertise.
Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC/manual machining equipment (mostly lathes)
Perform turning and precision machining operations
Machine complex components to tight tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Maintain quality and safety standards throughout production
Essential Skills
5+ years of machining experience with a solid balance of
manual and CNC machining (lathes)
Ability to read and interpret
blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics
Skilled in machining
steel and aluminum
to tight tolerances
Working knowledge of
CNC lathe programming and machining principles
Strong attention to detail, quality, and precision measurements
Eligible to work in a
Controlled Goods
environment and pass a background check
Additional Skills & Qualifications
429A General Machinist, considered an asset
Experience programming and setting up CNC machines
Familiarity with SolidWorks, GibbsCAM, or similar CAD/CAM software
Experience machining specialty alloys such as Titanium, Stainless Steel, Inconel, and Zirconium

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $44.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
