Jessica Kokin is seeking a reliable and experienced Personal Support Worker to provide personal care, companionship, household assistance, and meal preparation for an elderly individual. The position requires a caring and dependable person who can provide consistent support with daily activities and personal needs.

Position: Personal Support Worker NOC Code: 44101 Number of Vacancies: 1 Job Type: Full-time, Term or Contract Starting Date: As soon as possible Hours: 40 hours per week Work Schedule: Day Language of Work: English or French Wage: $19.27 per hour Overtime: Paid in accordance with applicable employment standards Vacation: As required under applicable employment standards Benefits: Transportation provided by employer; Travel insurance Accommodation: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. This is not a condition of employment.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Administering bedside and personal care.

Assisting with regular exercise, such as walking.

Providing personal care and assistance with daily activities.





Providing companionship and emotional support.

Preparing and serving nutritious meals.

Laundering clothing and household linens.

Mending clothing and linens.

Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable living workplace.

Job Requirements

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience.

Language: English or French.

Work Environment: Non-smoking environment. Work must be completed on site, with no option to work remotely.

The successful candidate will provide care and support to an elderly individual .

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

The position may involve:

Bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.

Working in a fast-paced environment.

Performing physically demanding and repetitive tasks.

Walking and assisting with mobility.

Working under pressure.

Handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
