Roles and Responsibilities

- Provide care and supervision to the client
- Take responsibility of the household in the parents’ absence
- Prepare client’s meals as requested and agreed by the parents
- Instruct client in personal hygiene
- Take the client to and from school and to appointments
- Provide a caring, safe, nurturing and stimulating environment
- Tend to emotional well-being of client and support social development
- Provide age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings
- Assist with household errands and shopping for grocery and household supplies

Requirements

- 1+ year of experience
- Completion of secondary school
- Must be reliable and able to care for children with kindness and patience
- Demonstrate good judgement and organizational skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Be available to work early morning, morning, day and evening

Work Conditions





- Physically demanding; weight handling up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
- Repetitive tasks
