About This Job

Everclean is looking for a Day Porter to join our team in Burnaby, BC. This is a hands‑on facility support role focused on keeping an office building clean, safe, organized, and welcoming throughout the day. The Day Porter will perform general cleaning and maintenance duties, respond to day-to-day facility needs, and help ensure the building is well maintained.

Location : Burnaby, BC

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Hours : 6 hours per day (includes a 30-minute unpaid break)

Pay : $18.75 per hour

What You Will Do

- Maintain the cleanliness and overall appearance of the office building throughout the day.
- Perform general day‑to‑day cleaning of washrooms, common areas, lobbies, hallways, offices, kitchens, and other facility areas.
- Monitor washrooms and common areas and replenish supplies as needed.
- Keep entrances, walkways, and surrounding areas clean and presentable.
- Respond to spills, litter, and other cleanliness concerns as they arise.
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming setting for employees, visitors, and clients.
- Monitor the facility for maintenance concerns, damage, safety hazards, or other issues and report them to the appropriate supervisor




- Complete required daily logs, checklists, and facility records.
- Ensure cleaning equipment and supplies are stored safely and kept organized.
- Follow all company, building, health, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Respond to reasonable requests from building staff and supervisors.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

You do not need previous cleaning experience — we will train you. What matters most is that you are dependable, take pride in your work, and are committed to maintaining a clean and safe facility.

You should be able to:

- Use cleaning equipment and products safely.
- Stand and walk for most of your shift.
- Follow instructions given verbally or in writing in English.
- Come to work consistently and on time.
- Work independently and manage day-to-day tasks with minimal supervision.
- Communicate professionally with building staff, visitors, and supervisors.
- Understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Perform general cleaning and facility maintenance duties as required.
