We are hiring General Production Workers in Markham, Ontario
Job Description
This role focuses on mechanical assembly and packaging in a clean production environment. You will use power and hand tools to assemble products, handle materials, and support daily production activities while following strict quality, safety, and workplace organization standards. The position requires consistent heavy lifting, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting with tight deadlines.
Responsibilities
Perform mechanical assembly using power tools and basic hand tools, including torque drivers, in accordance with work instructions and standard operating procedures.
Handle heavy lifting of up to 50 pounds on a daily basis and safely move products and materials around the production area.
Accurately pick, count, bag, and label parts according to pick lists and ad hoc requests to ensure correct materials reach the appropriate workstations.
Ensure full compliance with all applicable quality assurance standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during all production activities.
Participate in training and certification programs to maintain and enhance required knowledge and skill sets.
Rotate between different workstations as needed to support production flow and meet operational demands.
Maintain safety standards at all times, including following 5S workplace organization practices to keep the work area clean, orderly, and efficient.
Use basic computer skills, including MS Excel and Word, to support documentation, reporting, or other production-related tasks as required.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet production targets and deadlines.




Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall production and operational goals.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of mechanical assembly experience in a production or manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to perform mechanical assembly using power tools and hand tools, including torque drivers.
Comfortable consistently lifting and moving up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
Basic computer skills, including familiarity with MS Office applications such as Excel and Word.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when picking, counting, bagging, and labeling parts.
Ability to follow quality assurance standards and internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Willingness to rotate between different workstations and adapt to changing production needs.
Commitment to maintaining safety standards and 5S workplace organization practices.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
First aid certification is a strong asset.
Comfort working around production machinery, moving equipment, and varying noise levels.
Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification programs.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a production environment.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
