Job Description
This role involves working outdoors in a yard environment, performing a variety of general labour tasks focused on cleaning, assessing, and documenting vehicles. You will handle vehicles of various types, prepare them by cleaning out interiors, take detailed photos, assess their condition, and accurately log information using a provided handheld device. The position is physically active, requires comfort working in changing weather conditions, and calls for a mechanically inclined individual who is interested in vehicles and can reliably perform labour duties.
Responsibilities
Work outdoors in a yard setting, performing general labour tasks throughout the day.
Clean out cars and other types of vehicles, including removing debris and preparing interiors and exteriors as required.
Take clear, detailed photos of vehicles to support documentation and assessment processes.
Assess vehicle condition and accurately log all relevant information using a handheld device such as a cell phone or tablet.
Lift and move items up to 50 lbs safely and consistently as part of daily tasks.
Perform labour duties such as shovelling, general clean-up, and other physical tasks as needed.
Use mobile technology (cell phone or tablet) to input data, follow workflows, and communicate as required.
Operate within a small team, collaborating and communicating effectively to complete yard activities.
Follow all safety guidelines, including proper use of personal protective equipment appropriate for outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
Drive vehicles as required within the yard, using a valid drivers license and adhering to safety protocols.
Essential Skills
612 months of general labour experience in environments such as landscaping, construction,



or similar fields.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and perform physically demanding tasks.
Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions, including cold temperatures.
Mechanical inclination, with a genuine interest in cars, mechanical systems, transit, or similar areas.
Ability to use a cell phone or tablet to take photos and log information accurately.
Valid drivers license with the ability to work around and with vehicles.
Reliability and willingness to perform a variety of labour duties as needed.
Work Environment
This is an outdoor role in a yard setting where you work in all weather conditions, including cold, wind, and other elements. The position follows a day shift schedule, typically from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You use handheld devices such as cell phones or tablets to document vehicle information and support daily tasks. The work is physically active and may involve shovelling, lifting, and general clean-up. Appropriate outdoor attire is required, including gloves, hats, sweaters, and jackets to stay comfortable and safe in colder temperatures.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Caledon East, ON.
Pay and Perks
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge,



geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
