Health Care Assistant (HCA) – British Columbia
Mimak Care is seeking qualified and compassionate Health Care Assistants (HCAs) for assignments across British Columbia, including long-term care and assisted living facilities.
Requirements
- Current registration in good standing with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Recognized Health Care Assistant / Care Aide certificate
- Valid CPR/First Aid certification, as required
- Valid criminal record check, including vulnerable sector clearance ( within 6 months)
- TB screening and immunization records (MMR)
- Ability to safely assist residents with personal care, mobility, transfers, and activities of daily living
- Solid communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Ability to work within the HCA scope of practice and follow the direction of regulated healthcare professionals
