Regency Retirement Resorts have 8 locations in the Okanagan, including Vernon, Penticton, West Kelowna, and Kelowna. This position is on site at Summerwood

Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment for clients and staff. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional setting where attention to detail and reliability are highly valued. Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. The position requires a strong work ethic, punctuality,



and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties
* Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
* Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established standards
* Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly after use
* Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper as needed
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
* Follow all health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
* Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and professionalism during all cleaning tasksSkills
* Prior custodial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
* Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
* Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
* Good time management skills to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or collaboratively as part of a team




* Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward maintaining clean environments
