The Payroll team sits within the Finance Operations function and is responsible for supporting our fast-growing business by attending to the needs of our employees. We provide a tremendous opportunity to learn about various operations within lululemon, often working with cross-functional teams as key partners in strategic and operational decisions. core responsibilities

- Lead the Canada payroll function, providing clear direction, capability development, and performance management of the Payroll Specialists to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Monitor compliance with payroll policies, procedures, and legislative requirements across payroll cycles.
- Oversee and support end-to-end payroll processing activities to ensure payroll is completed accurately and on schedule.
- Ensure payroll previews are thoroughly reviewed and all identified errors are corrected before processing.
- Act as the primary point of escalation for payroll-related inquiries, providing guidance, coaching, and subject matter expertise to the team
- Review and reconcile payroll balances on processing days, investigating and resolving discrepancies prior to payroll submission.
