Job Description
- Provide all aspects ofPsychiatric Nursing care for patients in assigned behavioral healthunit/s.
- The Registered Nurse (RN) managesand coordinates the nursing care activities during the client'shospitalization in accordance with organization policies and procedures.
This includes assessment, diagnosis, planning and establishing outcomes,implementation, and evaluation.
- Based on this process, the RNdirects and is responsible for other personnel involved in client care.
- Accurately and promptlyimplements physicians’ orders.
- Prepares, administers, andrecords medications in accordance with the policy regarding theadministration of medications.
- Records information concisely,accurately and completely.
