Our client, an established residential construction company, is seeking an experienced
Site Superintendent
to support a low-rise residential project in the Brampton-Caledon area.This role is best suited to someone with strong experience overseeing the
rough construction stages
of low-rise residential projects and coordinating trades through the early and mid-stages of construction.Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day site operations during the rough construction stagesCoordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnelManage construction schedules and ensure work progresses efficientlyMonitor workmanship, quality and site conditionsCoordinate inspections and address construction-related issues as they ariseReview drawings and construction documentationEnsure trades are properly sequenced and upcoming work is prepared in advanceMaintain site safety standards and ensure compliance with applicable regulationsTrack deficiencies and ensure outstanding work is addressedWork closely with the broader construction team to maintain project timelinesQualifications
5+ years of site supervision experience within
low-rise residential constructionStrong experience with the
rough construction phaseExperience with detached, semi-detached and/or townhouse constructionStrong understanding of foundations, framing, roofing, building envelope and rough-insAbility to read and interpret construction drawingsStrong scheduling, coordination and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of Ontario construction practices and safety requirementsStrong communication skills and ability to effectively manage tradesValid driver's licence and access to a vehicleWhat’s Offered
