We are looking for an Industrial Butcher with 7 months to a year of hands-on experience. You will be responsible for slaughtering livestock, removing internal organs, and ensuring meat cuts meet specifications. Candidates should possess excellent knife skills and manual dexterity as the job includes physical and repetitive tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Slaughter livestock and remove viscera carefully
• Cut carcasses into primal cuts for processing
• Prepare specific cuts for institutional and wholesale distribution
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols consistently
• Work efficiently in a cold, noisy setting
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 months experience as a butcher
• Proven knife handling skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Willingness to relocate, as relocation costs are not covered
• Own transportation required for commute
