This seasonal contract role offers an prospect to work directly with the Manager of Information Technology in the Corporate Services Department. You will engage in developing security solutions, managing vulnerabilities, and enhancing security documentation. This experience is designed for students enrolled in Information Security or related fields to build essential skills in incident resolution and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze and develop IT security solutions with the IT team
• Review and monitor IT security recommendations from third parties
• Assist in Cyber Security Assessments and Audits
• Manage end user device vulnerabilities and security patches
• Document technical security readiness requirements
Requirements:
• Enrolled in a post-secondary program in Cybersecurity
• Knowledge of end user technologies and operating systems
• Familiar with information security principles and GRC frameworks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel
• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable vehicle required
