Key Responsibilities

Design and develop backend microservices using

Python.

Build and maintain APIs using frameworks such as

Fast API

or

Flask.

Develop business logic and database‑driven functionality to support platform applications.

Design and implement database objects, including:

Stored procedures

Tables and schemas

Data pipelines and ETL processes

Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.

Optimize database performance, data access patterns, and backend services.

Contribute to overall data platform architecture and best practices.

Required Qualifications

5-7+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend development.

Strong proficiency in

Python





and microservices architecture.

Hands‑on experience with

Fast API ,

Flask , or similar Python web frameworks.

Strong database development experience, including SQL programming and data modeling.

Experience building data pipelines and backend data services.

Understanding of software design patterns, API development, and distributed systems.

Ability to work independently with a high degree of ownership and accountability.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with

Snowflake

is highly preferred, though direct administration of Snowflake is

not required.

Experience developing database functionality within cloud‑based data platforms.

Background in full‑stack development is acceptable, provided the candidates recent experience is focused on backend and database services.

Salary and Other Compensation The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 and $140,000 annually (or $65.00–70.00 per hour). Pay may vary by geography, skills, education, and experience.
