Job Title: Journeyman Plumber

Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber or a 3rd or 4th-year apprentice plumber with strong commercial experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for above slab installations, copper water lines, installation of hydronic heating and cooling systems, plastic, storm sewers and sanitary sewers, gas line installation, building mechanical rooms, and installing equipment for plumbing and hydronics systems.

Responsibilities

Perform above slab installations and copper water line setup. Install hydronic heating and cooling systems. Handle plastic, storm, and sanitary sewer installations. Install gas lines and build mechanical rooms. Install equipment for plumbing and hydronic systems. Lead apprentices and work independently on commercial projects. Essential Skills Ticketed Plumber certification. Experience in commercial construction projects such as warehouses, office buildings, and retail stores. Blueprint reading and understanding gas line installations.

Ability to lead a team and communicate effectively. Capability to reach the site independently (vehicle required). Additional Skills & Qualifications AWP and Fall Arrest certifications are required. Foreman or lead experience preferred. Customer service skills. Experience in mechanical systems and new construction. EWP and Fall Arrest tickets are necessary; links for training provided. Work Environment

Work hours are from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a 45-minute lunch break. Foremen arrive at 6:45am to fill out paperwork and prepare staff for daily tasks. Work sites are primarily located in the north of Calgary and Balzac. Training is provided for one month on site with a current foreman. PPE includes 6-inch steel toe boots, hard hat, gloves, glasses, and vest. Additional power tools required are Cordless Sawzall and drill.

& Location This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB. Pay and Advantages The pay range for this position is $40.00
- $44.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
