​ Position Title: Waste Water Treatment Operator Position Type: Regular
- Full-Time ​ Requisition ID: 44923 ​ McCain Foods (Canada) is seeking Waste Water Treatment Operator that will require flexibility and the ability to work rotating or scheduled shifts in a dynamic industrial workplace. The successful candidate will frequently walk between buildings and work areas, climb stairs, and handle various equipment as part of their daily responsibilities. The position involves working around industrial machinery and wastewater treatment processes, while continuously monitoring equipment performance, operational processes, computer screens, and laboratory analyses. Employees must remain alert to recognize potentially hazardous situations and respond appropriately by following established safety procedures and using the required personal protective equipment (PPE). The role may also require working outdoors in various weather conditions throughout the year.



Safely and efficiently operate the Wastewater Treatment Plant and related systems.
• Collect wastewater samples and perform daily laboratory testing and analysis.
• Coordinate with waste-hauling contractors as required.
• Work closely with Production and Maintenance supervision to support optimal plant operation with minimal disruption.
• Follow all applicable GMP, Safety, HACCP, and Best Operating Procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Wastewater Treatment Plant Lead. Mandatory annual training includes:
• First Aid
• CPR
• Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Confined Space Entry and Rescue
