Description: Hello My name is Yena. I am looking to employ a kind caregiver who can work in Richmond Hill, Ontario. My mom had a stroke and she's been bed-bound for almost 4 years. She's at Mackenzie Health, Long Term Care Home so you'll be at the LTCH helping her. I'm hoping to connect with an experienced, caring individual who can work 3 times a week, 2 hours at a time. Requirements:
-basic personal hygiene -light exercise (moving her arms and legs/she gets PT but she doesn't always cooperate so extra from the caregiver is always helpful) -taking her downstairs or to the lounge when she's in the wheelchair -doing straightforward activities with her (coloring, playing with toys, reading for her etc.) -giving her a snack when she's alert It would be very nice if the applicant has prior experience with helping the elderly in a hospital or nursing home kind of setting.
