Part-Time Family Helper / Nanny

Orléans, ON Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday (part time, daytime hours) Compensation: Competitive hourly rate based on experience We are a warm and friendly family in Orléans looking for a caring, dependable, and proactive part-time family helper/nanny to support our family while one parent travels for work. We have a happy infant daughter and are looking for someone who can provide a combination of childcare and household support during the week. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with babies, takes initiative around the home, and wants to become a trusted part of our family's routine. Responsibilities Childcare
• Provide attentive, loving care for our infant daughter
• Engage in age-appropriate play and developmental activities
• Feed bottles and solids as needed
• Support naps and follow established routines
• Maintain a safe, nurturing environment Household Support
• Light housekeeping and daily tidying
• Laundry (washing, folding, and putting away)
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher
• Kitchen clean-up and organization
• Vacuuming and general household upkeep
• Meal preparation for the family when time allows
• Keeping common areas organized and functional

About Us
We're looking for someone who can work alongside Mom during the day, helping reduce the day-to-day workload that comes with caring for an infant and managing a household. Some days may involve more childcare,



while others may involve helping with household tasks so Mom can spend more focused time with the baby, catch up on personal needs, or take a well-deserved break. This position is approximately 50% childcare and 50% household support, depending on the needs of the day. We are looking for someone who is comfortable taking initiative and identifying ways to help throughout the day, whether that's caring for our daughter, folding laundry, tidying the kitchen, or helping prepare a meal. We value kindness, reliability, communication, and a positive attitude. We hope to find someone who will become a trusted and supportive presence in our home. Additional Information
• We share our home with three friendly cats.
• No pet care, feeding, litter maintenance, or other pet-related responsibilities are required.
• Applicants should be comfortable working in a home with cats. Qualifications
• Experience caring for infants
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Previous nanny, childcare, family assistant, or mother's helper experience preferred
• Comfortable with light housekeeping and meal preparation
• Reliable transportation
