Seeking a Warm, Playful Nanny for Our 18-Month-Old Daughter (Tuesdays/Wednesdays) Schedule
• Days: Tuesdays and Wednesdays
• Time: About 6-7 hours/day (e.g. 10:30am-5:30pm some days, 9:00am-3/4:00pm other days). Shifts may vary slightly and there is some flexibility on our end with the exact hours between the two days. If your availability doesn't match exactly or if you're only available one of those days and another day as well, but you think we'd be a outstanding fit, please still reach out

About Us
• Our daughter is bright, curious, happy, and playful
- she loves books, dancing, animals, the park, exploring nature, and just generally being silly.
• We live near Granville & W 6th, close to parks, the Arbutus Greenway, Granville Island, and the seawall.
• We prioritize connection, responsiveness, and tending to the emotions and needs driving behaviour (Bonus points if you follow Dr. Becky)
• We're a screen-free household for our daughter.
• We value open, honest communication and a collaborative relationship.
• We share our home with Teddy the cat, who loves to be part of the fun About You You are someone who:
• Is warm, emotionally attuned, and genuinely enjoys being with little ones
• Engages with our daughter through play, reading, singing, and curiosity
• Brings creativity and initiative (arts and crafts, new activities/outings, sensory play,



etc.)
• Loves the outdoors and doesn't mind a little Vancouver rain ☔ (we get outside daily)
• Is comfortable taking her to local activities (library, community centre play gym, West Side Family Place, etc.) (walking / taking public transit)
• Understands healthy child development and co-regulation of emotions
• Is proactive about tidying up after play and meals and helping keep things running smoothly
• Is open to light household help during naps (meal prep, dishes, folding laundry, playing with our cat, etc
- we'll keep it reasonable)
• Likes cats ✅ Requirements
• Strong references
• First Aid & CPR (or willingness to obtain/renew)
• Clean Criminal Record Check (or willingness to obtain/renew)
• Up-to-date vaccinations (flu, COVID, measles, etc.)
• Non-smoking
• Comfortable with cats
