Senior Machine Learning Engineer, Growth

HelloFresh is hiring a Senior Machine Learning Engineer for its Growth Tech Alliance in Toronto. The role focuses on productionizing machine learning infrastructure for marketing optimization systems.

Responsibilities

- Build integration layers for visual AI pipelines and multimodal embeddings used by predictive models.
- Move proof-of-concept models into production microservices and design LLM-based orchestration frameworks.
- Develop high-throughput, low-latency data pipelines that process first-party data and send pipeline signals to platforms such as Meta and Google.
- Work with data scientists and engineers to improve value forecasting efficiency.
- Establish CI/CD processes, feature stores, and drift detection; monitor and improve systems in production.

Qualifications

- Experience leading production machine learning systems from architecture through deployment and monitoring.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP,



or Azure; ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face; and Python and PySpark.
- Experience designing data architectures for structured and unstructured data, including multimedia assets.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related engineering field, with experience bringing ML systems from prototype to high-traffic production.
- Hands-on experience using AI development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot.

Work arrangement and compensation

Adaptable hybrid work in Toronto, with a minimum of two office days per week. The posted pay range is CAD $170,000–$200,000 per year.
