Lead hotel finance for Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre with hands-on accounting, reporting, and financial controls across property operations. Support accurate decisions within an owner-managed model.

The Hotel Financial Controller leads finance and accounting for Hyatt Place Toronto/Mississauga Centre and Luxe Convention Centre. This experienced position requires general ledger expertise, month-end closing, reconciliations, and hospitality knowledge. You will work with ownership, the General Manager, department heads, and external accounting partners.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead property finance and accounting operations
- Oversee monthly closing, reconciliations, accruals, and reporting
- Review external bookkeeping, accounting, and tax services




- Reconcile revenue across hotel systems and bank accounts
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and performance analysis

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent relevant experience
- Three to five years of progressive finance experience
- Knowledge of general ledger, AP, AR, and payroll reconciliations
- Experience with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Hospitality finance, OPERA, CPA, or implementation experience preferred
