Support resident care as a Part Time Registered Practical Nurse at Southbridge Cornwall LTC in Cornwall, ON, administering medications and treatments.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the RPN supports long-term care residents through assessments, care planning, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The position follows College of Nurses of Ontario Standards, Long-Term Care Standards, and Southbridge Care Homes Standards while applying nursing and infection control knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administer medications, treatments, and assessments for residents
- Observe, report, and record vital signs and conditions
- Develop, implement, review, and evaluate resident care plans
- Process physician orders and assess referral needs




- Supervise nursing and personal care staff assignments

Requirements:

- Current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate of competence
- Registration or eligibility with Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario
- Current First Aid and BLS Certificate
- Knowledge of nursing, healthcare, and infection control practices
- Negative vulnerable sector check and completed two-step TB test
