Apply chemical analysis and laboratory testing skills as a full time Lab Technologist at Magellan Aerospace’s Rockwood Propellant Plant near Winnipeg.

This Lab Technologist supports Rockwood production by testing incoming raw ingredients and in-process energetic products. The work includes wet chemistry, instrumental methods, physical properties analysis, and quality records. You will also help maintain procedures, equipment, instruments, supplies, and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform chemical analysis using wet chemistry and instrumental methods
- Conduct HPLC, GC, and FTIR testing
- Analyze tensile strength, viscosity, gravimetric, and particle size properties
- Maintain quality records for laboratory test processes
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements:

- Diploma in Chemical Technology or equivalent
- Previous laboratory experience considered an asset
- Experience using Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
