Serve resident meals as a part time Dietary Aide with Extendicare, using food safety practices and supporting culinary service.

As a valued culinary team member, you will serve food according to individual diets and preferences. You will assist cooks with basic preparation, maintain serving areas, and clean equipment. This work supports meal service in Extendicare’s long-term care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Serve meals according to resident diets and preferences
- Maintain proper food temperatures and meal serving times
- Prepare salads, vegetables, fruits, desserts, and garnishes
- Transparent trays and operate the dishwasher
- Store and label dietary supplies and leftovers

Requirements:

- Food Service Worker Program completion or enrollment
- Current Food Handler’s Certificate
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
