Your future role on our team You’ll be part of a team specialized in commissioning electrical systems up to 735 k V. You'll be supported by experts at all times and exposed to a wide range of projects and environments to develop your technical skills in all areas related to electric power. In this role, you’ll lead commissioning projects, coordinate project teams and ensure their health and safety. Our main sectors include power (generation, transmission and distribution), mining and heavy industry. Type of position Regular With us, you’ll get the opportunity to… Serve as the person responsible for the work for commissioning projects at Hydro‑Québec facilities Implement safety measures Ensure the entire team complies with safety requirements and rules Perform various types of tests on power equipment Test circuit breakers, disconnect switches and power and instrument transformers Program and simulate protection relay settings Perform pre‑operational verifications and commission new electrical substations Troubleshoot various electrical equipment (starters, motors, transformers, disconnect switches, cables, bus ducts, controls, etc.) Draft verification, anomaly and follow‑up reports Ensure client satisfaction Draft technical reports and help prepare them Oversee project monitoring and management Guide new team members on electrical testing, equipment maintenance,
