This sessional faculty role provides day-to-day educational leadership in the Human Services department. Working with the Dean and department faculty and staff, the Interim Department Chair supports teaching, scholarship, service, student support, and success. The appointment is 40%, with duties varying according to program needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide work leadership for daily program functions
- Act independently on routine administrative matters
- Assist with external contract identification and development
- Monitor approved departmental expense plans
- Advise students and the public about program scope
