Provide direct resident care as a Personal Support Worker at Southbridge Cornwall LTC in Cornwall, ON, supporting daily living and nursing needs. This is a casual vacancy.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the Personal Support Worker supports residents’ physical, intellectual, emotional, social, and spiritual needs. Duties include personal care, meal assistance, activity support, documentation, and communication with families and supervisors. Long-term care experience is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with ambulation, feeding, bathing, and grooming
- Support participation in activities and provide meal nourishment delivery
- Provide emotional, social, and palliative care support
- Follow documentation, safety, and infection control procedures




- Participate in care conferences and resident care planning

Requirements:

- Complete an approved PSW program of at least 600 hours
- Understand care planning systems and documentation
- Communicate positively with staff, residents, and families
- Read and write English and understand English instructions
- Complete vulnerable sector screening and required TB documentation
