Support children bilingually as a full time Program Assistant in Russell, Ontario, using communication, empathy, and CPR skills. This position is on-site.

Working with educators, you will support daily group functioning and children’s development in a safe, caring, stimulating environment. You will assist with routines, daily activities, and individualized support for a child with special needs. The contract runs until August 2027.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with educators to support daily group functioning
- Support children during routines and daily activities
- Promote children’s development within the group
- Provide individualized support for a child with special needs
- Promote inclusion and participation within the group

Requirements:

- Excellent French and English proficiency across four language skills
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Valid vulnerable sector criminal record check within six months
- Be at least 18 years old
- Communication, interpersonal, patience, empathy, and flexibility skills
