Support families in Iroquois Falls as a bilingual Brighter Futures Worker, using group facilitation and communication skills in a casual position.

As part of the Brighter Futures team, you will facilitate life skills, parenting, prenatal, nutrition, health, and safety topics. Sessions may take place individually or in groups, while promoting Agency services and programs to participants and the public. The work supports the philosophy and goals of Brighter Futures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate life and living skills topics individually or in groups
- Discuss parenting, prenatal, nutrition, health, and safety topics
- Address leisure, housing, breastfeeding, labour, and delivery topics
- Promote Agency services and programs to participants




- Promote Agency programs to the general public

Requirements:

- Social Service Worker diploma or Human Services postsecondary education
- Knowledge of child development, neglect, abuse, and reporting duties
- Knowledge of parenting issues and prevention and intervention techniques
- Excellent group facilitation, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- English and French bilingualism with required G2 driving licence
