Loblaw is hiring a full-time Grocery Manager for its Wholesale Club location in Penticton, BC. This posting is for an existing vacancy.

Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day department operations and meet sales and profitability goals.
- Train, develop, coach and motivate department colleagues.
- Maintain merchandising, stocking, pricing, cleanliness and safety standards.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate replenishment with other departments.
- Manage departmental expenses and assist with budget preparation.
- Work with store management and other department managers to support store-wide goals.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
- Previous retail management experience,



preferably in a department or specialty store.
- Knowledge of retail operations, merchandising, inventory management and customer service.
- Robust leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Hiring range: $40,000–$50,000 per year. Pay may vary based on experience, knowledge and location. Candidates aged 18 or older must complete a criminal background check.
