Key Responsibilities:

- Review clinical documentation from patient health records
- Assign diagnoses and intervention codes using ICD-10-CA/CCI
- Review and remediate coding edits and warnings
- Reconcile reports and escalate data issues for resolution




- Contribute to data quality and workflow initiatives

Requirements:

- Graduate from a CCHIM-recognized Health Information Management program
- Registration with the Canadian Health Information Management Association
- Knowledge of Canadian Coding Standards, DAD, and NACRS manuals
- Solid analytical, organizational, technical, and communication skills
- Provincial coding proficiency test score of 70% before interview
